Presidential candidate hopeful senator Barack Obama mentioned Sri Lanka in his response to a question regarding racism during an interview. He was simply asked his views on racism in America.

While his response in itself did not identify an allegiance towards either one of the parties involved in the conflict, spin machines have been trying to use his response to their advantage.

In an attempt to set the record straight as to what was said, I have attached the question and his response in its entirety (with NO SPIN!).
